Political Expertise
Alia has been consulted as a political expert by several governments in the west and in the Middle East and North Africa. She has delivered private briefings to ministers and the armed forces, and has served as an expert witness to the UK Parliament's Defence Select Committee on emerging threats from the Middle East and North Africa.
