Public Speaking
Alia is an experienced speaker, and has addressed a range of public, corporate and academic audiences, including at The Frontline Club, the UK Parliament, The V&A Museum, Windsor Castle, Cambridge University, the Royal Bank of Scotland, the British Academy, the York Festival of Ideas and the Thessaloniki International Symposium of World Affairs. While working as an academic at Oxford University and LSE, she routinely gave public lectures and organised and chaired a number of large public events. She has also delivered after-dinner speeches for private events, in London and the Middle East.
